Model Test: The Lovely Lili

Meet Lili...she is one of my favourite models I have shot to date. We shot this in a small abandoned section in St. Heliers one morning. Beautiful makeup and hair was done by Rebekah Banks and Lili styled the shoot herself, wearing all her own wonderful clothes and accessories. These are a few of mine and Lili's favourite shots from the shoot. This girl is going places, there's just something about her that is so awesome!

Beauty Shoot - Halcyon Powe

Say hello to the beautiful Halcyon @ red11! I did this beauty shoot of her a week or two ago when she was over in Auckland from Sydney for Fashion Week. Makeup was done by the talented Olga Gill. I really love this shoot and the vibrance of it, perfect for the amazing summer just around the corner!

Fashion Week

I got the chance to photograph a few of the shows during Fashion Week this year, with very limited camera equipment I must add. I was quite disappointed in the shots I got but thought I would share a few of the ok ones with you. To be honest I found myself simply watching the shows most of the time. Next year I will have my new camera and really be able to take the photos I want. Bring on NZ Fashion Week 2012 :)

Beauty Shoot - Chantal Naef

This is a shoot I did very recently of the beautiful Chantal @ KHM, she was over here from Sydney for Fashion Week so I jumped at the chance to photograph her. Hair and Makeup was done by the extremely talented Rebekah Banks. I hand made all the head and neck pieces for the shoot to add something personal. Not much more to say than that, I think the images speak for themselves. What a stunning girl!

Inspiration: Georgia May Jagger by Kai Z Feng

This is an editorial that was featured in Australian Vogue Dec 2010 and I immediately fell in love with model Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Rock legend Mick Jagger. The editorial was shot by Kai Z Feng, I really love the attitude and personality we get to see in the mages, and most of all her gap teeth! So awesome!

Lorita and Aaron's little Bump

The other night I had the pleasure of photographing Lorita and Aaron which was my first pregnancy photo shoot, I've been wanting to shoot someone pregnant for ages, so (with some convincing) I got Lorita and her husband Aaron over for a cute wee shoot together. Really happy with how they turned out. All the best to both of you and your little baby xx

Underwater Self Portraits

Just recently I got approached to exhibit some of my photography, which meant I had to dig up some old work of mine from my final semester at uni...so thought I would share it with you. This was a self portrait series titled "I Of The Beholder". This is single handedly the most personal work I have ever done to this day, even looking at it now still stirs up many emotions. I worked so hard on it and really grew as a person from the therapeutic experience. I am so glad I did it. Enjoy x
