This is a lovely soft shoot I did for the latest September issue of Remix Miagazine, it's a bit different to what I usually do so was a lot of fun to soften things up and do some thing really beautiful for the magazine. Woah, Yasmin is one stunning girl!

"YOUTHQUAKERS" for REMIX MAGAZINE

Here's a look at one of my shoots in the September issue of Remix Magazine. This has to be one of my favourite shoots to date! Technically it was quite challenging, but all the hard work and planning was definitely worth it. I just love how the shoot (especially the hair) totally transforms Esther, what a babe! I photographed it in colour, but it was published in black & white, check out both below as well as a few shots that didn't make it to print :) x

Beauty Shoot - Jaeger Glucina

  

And here we have the stunning Jaeger Glucina! Wow, this girl is amazing! I had such a great day shooting her. On the day, I actually shot her along side another model, Grace. I had two sets set up on either ends of a room, and switched between them throughout the day. Resulting in two totally different shoots, in half the amount of time :) We had an amazing team and I couldn't have done it without my amazing assistant! Love the drama and richness in colour of these shots!

Here I introduce the ever so beautiful Grace @ Clyne. Her beauty is undeniable and I absolutely LOVE these shots! I love the soft caramel tones and her insane bone structure!

'Duchesse de Nemour' featuring Jana Beller for Remix Magazine

The beautiful Jana Beller @ Nova Models is the star of my latest Beauty shoot 'Duchesse de Nemour' for Remix Magazine. I love the light softness of this shoot, and love the flower photos mixed in which I took to accompany the beauty images. This shoot I lit mainly from behind, giving the lovely soft edges and highlights, and how awesome is her hair! Hair by Terri Chin @ Servilles, assisted by Shirin. Lovely soft makeup looks were done by Elizabeth Canales-Ron @ Face me, assisted by Rani Shortland. With subtle styling by Sophie Donovan I feel as if the shoot came together perfectly, with all elements complimenting one another for an overall beautiful beauty shoot of the already beautiful Jana.

Talia - Featured on BLACKlog

This shoot featured on Black Magazine's BLACKlog is one of my very favourites so far. I had the idea and concept in mind for a long time, taking the time to plan it very well as I knew it would be very difficult both visually and technically. 

The entire shoot is shot through glass, with me lying under the glass on my back shooting upwards, while the model leaned on top of the glass looking down at me. It's a hard set to explain, and was probably the most complicated set I've ever had. There were lights coming from all directions, black material to stop reflections, platforms, reflectors. You name it, I had it there! But it was so worth it and I am thrilled with the result. I wanted the glass element to be almost unrecognizable, and wanted the viewer to question the elements of the image. Overall, I'm stoked with how it turned out! 

The model Talia @ Red11 did the most amazing job, I have no doubt in my mind that this girl is going to be a star, she's absolutely stunning and such a sweetie! I love the styling of this shoot done by Juvena Worsfold, it was exactly what I had imagined, and beautiful hair & Makeup done by the talented Rebekah Banks.

"KA-POW!!!" for PAPERCUT MAGAZINE - Editorial & COVER

A month or so ago I did an awesome shoot with an amazing team which has just been published in the December issue of Papercut Magazine! Woohoo! And what's even better is I got the COVER!! The shoot was based around a strong Pop Art influence, taking inspiration from Comic Book colours, patterns and expressions. We had an amazing team working on the shoot and I am sooo proud of the result! The models captured the emotion of the shoot perfectly and overall I think it's pretty rad!

Bay Berger - Beauty shots

A while ago I did a shoot "Miss Jane" for Remix Magazine and did some extra close up/beauty shots of the model Bay Berger @ Nova as I thought she was, quite simply, absolutely stunning! They were shot in addition to the looks featured in the Summer Issue of Remix Magazine so didn't make it in. I really like them though so thought I would share a few with you. What an absolute BEAUTY!!

P.S. I must add that these are all totally un retouched!! All I've done is play with the colour slightly, completely no airbrushing going on at all, she's just that perfect!

Ketz-Ke LookBook Summer '12/13 - "A Perfect Day..."

A little ago now I again had the pleasure of shooting another LookBook for KetzKe - their 2012-2013 Summer Campaign and LookBook "A Perfect Day..."

We are now nicknamed "The Dream Team", I truely love shooting for them. The days go so smoothly and everyone gets along and works incredibly well and fast together - essential for high intensity days like these. This seasons LookBook featured model Kendall Schuler @ Red11.

Again, these guys have come up with a great selection this season, I already have many pieces and just want more and more! Check out their Summer collection in store or online here.

"Miss Jane" featured in Remix Magazine Summer Issue

This is my most recent shoot in the summer issue of Remix Magazine called "Miss Jane" which features the ever so beautiful Bay Berger @ Nova. Sophie at Remix Magazine did an awesome job of styling and sourcing the fabric which I used for the backdrops. Hair by Stanze Rudduck @ Steven Marr, and beautiful makeup by Sarika Patel @ M.A.C.

I tried out a new lighting technique for this shoot and am so happy with it! I love how the lighting is really soft and subtle, overall a really flattering lighting for fashion/beauty work - and it makes retouching a breeze as it smoothes out everything (not that Bay needed it, this girl has the most amazing skin I've ever seen!).

Overall, I'm really happy with the shoot. It's quite girly and soft in comparison to my last shoot for Remix, mixing it up and changing things is always a good thing, I'd hate to ever get stuck in one look.

Thanks to the awesome team on the day, we all worked so well together and it shows in the results.

"Lady In Black" featured in Remix Magazine

This shoot titled "Lady In Black" featuring the beautiful model Lili Sumner @ Red11 is my latest shoot featuring in the spring issue of Remix Magazine. I had so much fun doing this shoot, our team was amazing! Styling by the ever so talented Sophie Donovan @ Remix, Hair by the amazing Lauren Gunn@Steven Marr, Makeup by Daisy Uffinell, and stylist assistant Jessica Beresford. I really love the 'sex appeal' feeling of this shoot (not something I do that often) so was good to step out of my comfort zone a bit and produce work that has a very sultury, almost vampy, feel to it. And what can I say about Lili, isn't she just divine! I love the limited colour palette we used with the pop of red, nothing sexier than an beautiful red lip! Enjoy x

A while ago I had the pleasure of working with the team at Ketz-Ke and models Johanna@62 and Hanna@62 on the latest Ketz-Ke Spring'12 Campaign and Lookbook. Was such a fun shoot day! Just saw the catalogues and they look great! "Colour Blind" featuring Mary Maguet

"Colour Blind" is a shoot I did with the amazing Mary Maguet @KHM/RPD. WOW! Isn't she cool! This was such an awesome day, the team and I had so much fun playing around with the paint, and the hair...I am so in love with her hair like this! Amazing hair and makeup by Rebekah Banks, styling and creative direction by Helle Weston. Such a nice bright shoot, love it!

"Love Always" for Remix Magazine

A short while ago I had the pleasure of shooting my first editorial for Remix Magazine. The shoot titled "Love Always" features models Rosie @ Nova, Nicola @ Nova and Kate @ N Model Management and was a retro, pin-up inspired studio shoot. Fashion by Sophie Donovan, amazing Hair by Ella Macedo @ Killer Hair assisted by Tom @ Killer Hair, and makeup was done by the talented Kiri O'Brien assisted by Sharon Ngen. 

One of the images from the shoot actually made the COVER of the issue - Remix Magazine's 15th Birthday Issue! Needless to say, the team and I were stoked with the shoot and getting the cover. Enjoy xx

"The Little Black Crow" featuring Erica Rosen for Chaos Magazine

A little while ago I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Erica Rosen @ Clyne/Elite, an international model from New York. Our shoot "The Little Black Crow" has just been featured in Chaos Magazine. I love this shoot and think Erica looks like a total babe! Styling and Creative Direction by Helle Weston, Hair and Makeup by the extremely talented Rebekah Banks. "Under Grey Waters" featuring Bec Downes and Tyller McCulloch

This is a shoot titled "Under Grey Waters" featuring international model Bec Downes @ Red 11 and model Tyller McCulloch @ KHM. It was such an intense shoot for the models but they both did amazing! Hair, makeup and styling by the talented Olga Gill. I was so pleased with the result and loved how the series turned out. On the day I had some major technical issues with some lights I had borrowed so I ended up moving our whole set outside and using only natural light...which I ended up loving! I got Tyller, one of the models, to do a piece of writing to go with the shoot. Check out some more of her stuff here. All in all I really love this series and the strong concept behind it. Enjoy!

"Good Girls Don't" featuring Laura Scaife

This shoot titled "Good Girls Don't" is something I shot a while ago now at night in an empty car park. The shoot features model Laura Scaife @ 62, styling by Rebecca Flavell, Hair by Vladimir Moiseev and Makeup by Olga Gill. It was such a fun shoot, and I love the mood created by the location and lighting.
